Audit Your Landing Page
Before Buying More Traffic

Sprites reads your landing page the way a visitor from an ad does, finds where the copy, offer, structure and form lose people, and gives you fixes ranked by impact, with the rewrites drafted.

What this template does

Most paid traffic problems are page problems. This template has Sprites read your landing page and the ads that send traffic to it, then audit the things that decide whether a click converts: does the headline match the ad promise, is the offer and price framing clear in the first screen, does the page answer the objections buyers raise in reviews and forums, is proof specific or generic, and does the form or checkout ask more than the offer earns.

The audit is opinionated and prioritized. Each finding names the section, the problem, the fix and the expected effect, and the copy fixes come drafted: a new headline that matches the ad, a rewritten offer block, a trimmed form. Sprites reviews the page as a reader and a copywriter; it does not install scripts or run A/B tests on your site, so the fixes are yours to apply in your page builder or CMS, or through the Sprites SEO agent where the page is on WordPress, Shopify or Webflow.

Inputs and outputs

What you provide

  • The landing page URL
  • The ads or campaigns that send traffic to it (or a connected ad account so Sprites can read them)
  • The conversion you want: purchase, lead form, demo booking, trial sign-up
  • Optional: Google Analytics 4 access for bounce, scroll and form data, and any known conversion rate

What you get

  • A prioritized findings list: message match, offer clarity, structure, proof, objections, form friction, mobile layout
  • A message-match score between each ad and the page headline and hero
  • Rewritten copy for the top findings: headline, subhead, offer block, CTA and proof lines
  • A form and checkout review: fields to cut, order to change, trust cues to add
  • A short test roadmap: which change to make first and what metric should move

How it runs

  1. Step 1

Read the page and the ads

Sprites opens the page on desktop and mobile widths and reads the ads pointing to it, so the audit starts from the promise the visitor arrived with.

  2. Step 2

    Check message match

Headline, hero and first-screen offer are compared with each ad's hook and claim. Mismatches are the first findings because they are the cheapest to fix.

  3. Step 3

    Audit the argument

Section by section: is the offer clear, are benefits specific, does proof carry numbers or names, are the objections from reviews and Reddit answered, is the CTA one action.

  4. Step 4

    Review friction

Forms, checkout steps, pricing presentation and mobile layout are checked for the asks that outweigh the offer at that point in the page.

  5. Step 5

    Draft the fixes

Findings are ranked by likely impact and effort, and the copy fixes are written out so you can paste them in. If the page is on a CMS Sprites publishes to, it can stage the edits.

Frequently asked questions

What does the landing page CRO audit check?

+

Message match between ads and page, offer and price clarity, page structure and hierarchy, specificity of proof, whether known objections are answered, CTA focus, form and checkout friction, and mobile layout. Each finding comes with a fix and, for copy, a drafted rewrite.

Does Sprites run A/B tests on my website?

+

No. Sprites audits the page and drafts the changes; it does not install testing scripts or split traffic on your site. You apply changes in your page builder, or Sprites stages them if the page lives on WordPress, Shopify, Webflow or a custom site it publishes to, and your ad results show the effect.

Does it use analytics or heatmap data?

+

It uses Google Analytics 4 if connected, for bounce, engagement and form events, and it reads your ad performance for CTR versus conversion rate. It does not use session recordings or heatmaps; the audit is a copy, offer and structure review grounded in that data.

How is this different from a CRO agency audit?

+

It is faster, it reads your actual ads so message match is checked rather than assumed, and the copy fixes arrive drafted. Most teams use it as the audit an agency would have charged for, then run the ads and the page changes in-house.

Can I run the audit from Claude or ChatGPT?

+

Yes. Sprites ships an official MCP server, so you can request a landing page audit from Claude, ChatGPT, Grok or any MCP-compatible assistant, with the same access to your connected ad accounts and analytics.
