What this template does

A list of fifty video titles is easy to generate and hard to use. This template returns fewer ideas with more behind each one: the search demand for the topic, the questions people ask about it in forums and reviews, what videos already rank and where they fall short, and a hook and outline that gives your version a reason to exist. Ideas are sorted by the format they suit, from a sixty-second short to a ten-minute explainer.

The research uses the same tools Sprites uses for SEO and paid: keyword research for search demand, web research for the questions and the existing videos, Reddit and review mining for the language your audience uses. YouTube is treated as a search engine, so ideas come with the phrasing people type, not just a clever title.

Sprites produces the ideas, outlines and scripts; it does not upload or schedule videos and has no access to your channel analytics. When a video is worth promoting, Sprites runs video ads through Google Ads and TikTok Ads and stages the campaign for approval.

Inputs and outputs

What you provide

  • Your niche, the audience and what you sell or teach
  • The platforms and formats: YouTube long-form, Shorts, TikTok, Reels, LinkedIn video
  • Your channel or past videos, so ideas build on what you have covered
  • Optional: competitor channels, and the topics you want to own or avoid

What you get

  • Fifteen to twenty-five ideas, each with the search phrase, estimated demand and the format it suits
  • Per idea: the audience question it answers, what existing videos miss and the angle that fills the gap
  • A hook for the first ten seconds and a beat-by-beat outline per idea
  • A grouping into series so the channel has a plan rather than one-offs
  • A shortlist to script first, with the reasoning

How it runs

  1. Step 1

    Map the niche

Sprites reads your site and channel, lists the topics you can speak on with authority, and identifies the subtopics your audience searches for.

  2. Step 2

    Measure demand

Runs keyword research on the candidate topics to size search interest and finds the phrasing people actually use.

  3. Step 3

    Find the gaps

Researches what already ranks for each topic and mines Reddit, reviews and forums for the questions those videos leave unanswered.

  4. Step 4

    Write the ideas

Turns each gap into an idea with a hook, an outline and the format it belongs in, and groups the ideas into series.

  5. Step 5

    Hand off

You pick the ideas to make. Ask for the full script next, or for a video ad campaign on Google or TikTok once the video is live, staged for approval.

Frequently asked questions

Where do the ideas come from?

+

From research, not a prompt alone. Sprites runs keyword research to size search demand, studies the videos that already rank, and mines Reddit, reviews and forums for the questions those videos leave open. Each idea shows the evidence behind it.

Does it work for short-form video?

+

Yes. Ideas are tagged by format, and short-form ideas come with a spoken hook and a shot list rather than a long outline. You can ask for Shorts, TikTok and Reels only.

Does Sprites connect to my YouTube analytics?

+

No. Sprites does not have YouTube channel analytics access. It reads your public channel to see what you have covered and uses search demand data for the rest. Share an analytics export if you want ideas weighted by what performed.

Can it write the scripts as well?

+

Yes. Pick the ideas and Sprites writes full scripts with the YouTube Script Writer template, or ad scripts if the video is destined for a campaign. Video ads themselves run through Google Ads and TikTok Ads with approval before launch.

Can I run this from Claude or ChatGPT?

+

Yes. Sprites ships an official MCP server, so you can request the same researched idea bank from Claude, ChatGPT, Grok or any MCP-compatible assistant, or in the Sprites app.
