What the finder shows, and what the report adds

The free lookup searches the Sprites ads library: around 8,000 brands with pages of their Meta ads, and a few hundred software and AI companies tracked across Meta, Google and LinkedIn. A match opens that advertiser’s page, with the creatives, the formats it uses and how long its ads stay live.

The report goes past what the library already holds. It reads the named company’s ads from the platforms live, stopped ads included, groups them by the hook and offer they lead with, lists the landing pages they send to and says which ads have run longest, which is the closest public signal to which ones work.

Why run length is the number to watch

None of the ad libraries publish spend, clicks or conversions for commercial ads. What they do publish is when each ad started and stopped, and an advertiser does not keep paying to deliver an ad that is not working. An ad still running after a month is one the competitor chose to keep.

Across the library the median ad that has stopped ran for about four weeks; the Meta ad creative benchmarks break that down by industry, alongside the video share and the calls to action each category uses.

From a competitor’s ads to your own

Reading the ads is the start. The useful output is a brief: which angles the category has settled on, which it has not tried, and which offers keep running. Sprites turns the report into ads in your brand and runs them on your accounts, with your approval on every change.

Questions, answered

How do I see what ads my competitors are running?

Type the competitor’s website or brand above. If the Sprites ads library already holds them, you get their library page for free, with the ads, formats and how long each ran. The full report reads every ad they run on Meta, Google and LinkedIn live, including ads that have stopped, and lays out the hooks, offers and landing pages they repeat.

Is the competitor ads finder free?

The lookup is free and needs no account: it tells you whether the library already holds the advertiser and links its page. The full competitor report is part of Sprites, which starts with a 7-day trial, because it reads the ad platforms live for whichever company you name and keeps watching for new ads.

Can I see a competitor’s Google and LinkedIn ads, not just Facebook?

Yes, in the full report. Meta publishes every active ad in its Ad Library, Google publishes advertisers in its Ads Transparency Center and LinkedIn in its Ad Library. Each has its own search and none puts the three together; the report reads all three for one company and joins them.

Is it legal to look at competitors’ ads?

Yes. The ads are published by the platforms themselves in public transparency libraries for anyone to read. Studying them is ordinary competitive research; copying a competitor’s creative or trademarks is not, and the report is written to show what to learn from, not what to lift.
