What this template does

This template runs the Google Ads agent through a full Search campaign build. It starts from your landing page and goal, researches keywords through the Google Ads API, groups them into tight ad groups, writes responsive search ads with the full headline and description set, adds negatives and match types, and proposes a daily budget and bidding strategy that fit the goal.

Nothing is created until you approve it. The plan shows every keyword, ad and setting; edit what you like in the review card, approve, and Sprites creates the campaign through the official Google Ads API in your account. Once it is live, the same agent can run the optimization: search-term mining, negatives, bid changes and ad refreshes on a weekly Autopilot.

Inputs and outputs

What you provide

  • The landing page URL (Sprites reads the page for offer, audience and proof points)
  • The goal: leads, sales, calls or sign-ups, with a target CPA or ROAS if you have one
  • Budget range and the locations and languages to target
  • Optional: your own keyword list or a CSV export from another tool

What you get

  • Keyword set with match types, grouped into themed ad groups
  • Responsive search ads per ad group: up to 15 headlines and 4 descriptions, with pinning where it matters
  • Negative keyword list built from the research, so obvious waste never serves
  • Campaign settings: budget, bidding strategy, networks, locations, ad schedule
  • The campaign created in your Google Ads account after approval, with conversion tracking checked

How it runs

  1. Step 1

    Read the offer

Sprites opens the landing page, extracts the product, audience, pricing and proof points, and confirms the goal and budget with you before researching anything.

  2. Step 2

    Research keywords

Pulls search volumes and competition through the Google Ads API, expands from seed terms, and filters to intent that matches the goal. Your own keyword list or CSV is merged in if you provide one.

  3. Step 3

    Structure ad groups

Clusters keywords into tight ad groups so each ad can speak to one intent, sets match types, and builds the negative list from everything that was researched and rejected.

  4. Step 4

    Write the ads

Drafts responsive search ads per ad group with headlines that carry the keyword, the offer and the proof, plus descriptions and sitelink suggestions. Ad strength is checked before you see them.

  5. Step 5

    Stage for approval

Presents the full plan in a review card: keywords, ads, budget, bidding and settings. You edit inline and approve. Nothing has touched your account yet.

  6. Step 6

    Create and hand off

Creates the campaign through the official Google Ads API, verifies conversion tracking, and offers to schedule a weekly optimization Autopilot for search terms, negatives and bids.

Frequently asked questions

Does Sprites create the campaign in my account or just give me a plan?

+

Both, in that order. It shows the full plan first and creates the campaign through the official Google Ads API only after you approve. You can also export the plan if you would rather build it yourself.

Where do the keywords come from?

+

From the Google Ads API keyword planning data, expanded from your landing page and seed terms, plus any list or CSV you provide. Sprites filters by intent and competition so the campaign does not launch on broad research terms.

Does it work for small budgets?

+

Yes. Sprites sizes the keyword set and ad group count to the budget so the campaign gets enough clicks per ad group to learn. Small accounts usually launch with fewer, tighter ad groups and exact and phrase match.

Can it manage the campaign after launch?

+

Yes. Schedule the Google Ads optimization Autopilot and Sprites mines search terms, adds negatives, adjusts bids and budgets, refreshes ads and reports weekly, with each change staged for approval.

Can I run this from Claude or ChatGPT?

+

Yes. Sprites ships an official MCP server, so the same build runs from Claude, ChatGPT, Grok or any MCP-compatible assistant, with the same approval gate before anything reaches the account.
