A Content Strategy
You Can Actually Execute

Tell Sprites what the business needs, who it sells to and what exists today. It researches the demand, finds the gaps, maps topics to the funnel and returns a sequenced roadmap, then writes the pages on it.

What this template does

A content strategy is only useful if it names specific pages, in order, with reasons. This template produces that. Sprites starts from your goals (leads, sign-ups, revenue, AI-answer visibility), your audience and your current site, then runs keyword research through the Google Ads API and reads the live results for the queries that matter, so every recommendation carries demand, difficulty and intent instead of a hunch.

The plan is organized around the funnel and the site, not a list of blog titles. Pillar pages and clusters cover the topics you need authority in; comparison and alternative pages cover buyers who are choosing; product and use-case pages cover the queries closest to purchase. Existing pages are audited for expansion, consolidation or retirement before anything new is proposed, so the plan fixes cannibalization and decay rather than adding to it.

You get a 90-day roadmap with owners, order and expected effort. Because the same SEO agent writes and publishes, the roadmap is not a handoff: each item can be briefed, drafted, linked and staged in your CMS for approval, and a monthly Autopilot re-reads Search Console to reprioritize what comes next.

Run it in Sprites

“Build a 90-day content strategy for my website from my goals, my audience and the keywords I can realistically rank for”

Sign in, paste nothing: this prompt opens pre-filled. Sprites asks for what it needs, shows the plan, and waits for your approval before anything reaches an account.

Inputs and outputs

What you provide

  • Business goals and the audience: who buys, what they search for, what the sales team hears
  • Your website, with Search Console and Google Analytics 4 connected if possible
  • Two or three competitors whose content you respect or want to beat
  • Constraints: publishing capacity per month, formats you can produce, markets and languages

What you get

  • An audit of existing content: what to expand, merge, refresh or retire, with the data behind each call
  • Topic clusters mapped to funnel stages with demand, difficulty and the format that ranks for each
  • A sequenced 90-day roadmap: page by page, with target queries, internal-link targets and effort
  • Measurement plan: which Search Console and GA4 signals to watch and when to expect them
  • Briefs for the first items, and drafts staged in your CMS when you ask for them

How it runs

  1. Step 1

    Frame the goal

Sprites confirms what content is supposed to do for the business, which audience it serves and what capacity you have, so the plan is sized to reality.

  2. Step 2

    Audit what exists

Every current page is checked against Search Console data and the live SERP. Pages that almost rank get expansion plans; overlapping pages get merged; dead weight is flagged.

  3. Step 3

    Research the demand

Keyword research through the Google Ads API around your product and competitors, with intent checks on the live results, produces the topic universe to plan from.

  4. Step 4

    Build the map

Topics are grouped into clusters and assigned to funnel stages and site sections. Each cluster names its pillar, its supporting pages and the internal links between them.

  5. Step 5

    Sequence and execute

The roadmap orders work by impact and effort. Approve it, and Sprites briefs, drafts and stages each page through your CMS integration, re-planning monthly on Autopilot.

Where teams use it

  • Startups building a content function

Get a first-quarter plan that starts with bottom-of-funnel pages and works upward, so the earliest traffic is the most qualified.

  • Teams with a bloated archive

Consolidate years of overlapping posts into clusters that rank, and stop publishing new pages that compete with old ones.

  • Ecommerce

Plan category, buying-guide and comparison content around the catalog so organic traffic lands on pages that sell.

  • Agencies

Deliver a data-backed strategy at kickoff, then run it from the same workspace with white-label monthly reporting.

Frequently asked questions

How does Sprites find topic opportunities for my audience?

+

From keyword research through the Google Ads API around your product and competitors, cross-checked against the live results for intent and difficulty, and against Search Console for what you already rank for. Opportunities are the queries with demand, a beatable SERP and a link to the goal.

What do I need to provide?

+

Your goals, a description of the audience and your website. Connecting Search Console and Google Analytics 4 makes the audit much sharper, and naming competitors gives the research a benchmark. Sprites will ask for anything else it needs.

Does the plan cover more than blog posts?

+

Yes. It covers pillar and cluster pages, comparison and alternative pages, product and use-case pages, and content built to be cited in AI answers. Social and email are included as distribution for the pages, not as separate strategies.

Can I adjust the strategy once it is generated?

+

Yes. Change priorities, drop clusters, add constraints and Sprites re-sequences the roadmap. The plan lives in your workspace and is revised monthly against real Search Console data.

Can I run this from Claude or ChatGPT?

+

Yes. Sprites has an official MCP server, so the same research, roadmap and publishing flow is available from Claude, ChatGPT, Grok or any MCP-compatible assistant, with approval before anything is published.

Do I still need a content agency?

+

Most teams using this template do not. Sprites does the research, planning, writing and publishing an agency would, and your team sets the goals and approves the pages. The retainer usually goes toward the tool and the writing capacity you keep in-house.
