What this template does

A video ad is decided in its first three seconds and won in its last five. This template writes scripts with that shape: an opening line built from the language your audience uses in reviews and on Reddit, a middle that demonstrates rather than describes, and a close with one call to action. Each script is a two-column document, what is said and what is on screen, plus the caption overlays and a note on pacing, so a creator, a founder on a phone or a video editor can shoot it without a briefing call.

Scripts are written per platform and per length. TikTok and Reels get native-feeling, spoken-first cuts at 15 and 30 seconds; YouTube gets a skippable-safe opening and a 60-second version; Meta feed gets a sound-off variant that works on captions alone. Sprites writes the scripts and runs the video campaigns through Google Ads, Meta and TikTok; it does not produce the video itself.

Inputs and outputs

What you provide

  • The product or landing page URL and the single action the ad should drive
  • Platforms and lengths: TikTok, Reels, YouTube, Meta feed; 15, 30 or 60 seconds
  • The format: founder to camera, creator testimonial, demo, unboxing, voiceover over product shots
  • Optional: reviews, past video ads that worked or failed, and the brand voice

What you get

  • Three scripts per format by default, each on a different hook angle
  • Two-column layout: spoken lines beside shots, with on-screen caption text and pacing notes
  • Alternate opening hooks for each script so the first three seconds can be tested separately
  • Sound-off versions for Meta feed with caption-carried messaging
  • A shoot checklist: props, locations and shots that several scripts share, to film in one session

How it runs

  1. Step 1

    Read the offer and audience

Sprites reads the landing page for the promise and proof, then pulls phrasing from reviews, Reddit and competitor video ads in the Sprites Ads Library so the hook sounds like a customer.

  2. Step 2

    Choose the structures

Problem-agitate-solve, demo-first, testimonial and comparison structures are mapped to the platforms and lengths you asked for, with a reason for each pairing.

  3. Step 3

    Write the scripts

Each script is written spoken-first, timed to its length, with the shot list, caption overlays and CTA. Three opening hooks are written per script.

  4. Step 4

    Check the platform fit

YouTube openings survive the skip button, TikTok scripts avoid ad-speak, Meta versions read with sound off. Claims are checked against the landing page.

  5. Step 5

    Hand off or launch

Export the scripts and shoot checklist for a creator or editor. When the video is ready, the Meta, Google or TikTok agent stages the campaign for approval.

Frequently asked questions

Does Sprites make the video, or only the script?

+

The script, the shot list, the captions and the hooks. Video production is done by you, a creator or an editor. Once the video exists, Sprites runs the campaign on Meta, TikTok or Google Ads (including YouTube) and stages every setting for your approval.

What lengths and platforms does it write for?

+

By default 15, 30 and 60-second cuts for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube and Meta feed, each written to that platform's conventions: spoken-first for TikTok and Reels, skip-safe openings for YouTube, sound-off captions for Meta feed. Ask for other lengths.

How does it write hooks that sound natural?

+

It reads how your customers describe the problem in reviews and Reddit threads, and how competitors open their video ads in the Sprites Ads Library, then writes the opening line in that register. Three alternate hooks per script let you test the first three seconds on their own.

Can it match our brand voice and compliance rules?

+

Yes. Give it past ads, a brand kit or a few sentences that sound like you, plus any claims to avoid, and every script follows them. Claims are checked against your landing page so the script does not promise more than the page does.

Can I write scripts from Claude or ChatGPT?

+

Yes. Sprites ships an official MCP server, so the same research-backed scripts come back in Claude, ChatGPT, Grok or any MCP-compatible assistant, and the campaign can be staged from there when the video is ready.
