What this template does

Reviews are the cheapest customer research there is, and almost nobody reads them past the star rating. This template has Sprites read them properly: your own reviews on Google, Trustpilot, G2, Amazon or the app stores, plus reviews of the competitors you name. It groups statements into themes, praise, complaints, comparisons, the moment people decided to buy, the thing they wish existed, and keeps the exact phrasing, because a hook written in a reviewer's words outperforms one written in a marketer's.

The findings are turned into usable marketing pieces: ad angles with the supporting quotes, hooks and headlines, objection-handling lines for landing pages, blog and FAQ topics that answer the questions reviewers raise, and a short list of product gaps worth passing to the team. From there the same workspace writes the ads and stages them in Meta or Google for approval, or writes the articles through the SEO agent.

Run it in Sprites

“Mine the reviews for my product and my top three competitors and turn recurring praise and complaints into ad angles and content ideas”

Sign in, paste nothing: this prompt opens pre-filled. Sprites asks for what it needs, shows the plan, and waits for your approval before anything reaches an account.

Inputs and outputs

What you provide

  • Your product name and where its reviews live, or a URL to the review page
  • Competitors to mine alongside you (Sprites can find them from a category)
  • What you want out of it: ad angles, landing page copy, content ideas, or all three
  • Optional: a review export or support ticket spreadsheet, uploaded or linked from Google Drive or OneDrive

What you get

  • A theme map: praise, complaints, comparisons, buying triggers and unmet wishes, each with frequency and example quotes
  • A competitor comparison: what buyers like about them, what they complain about, and where you are mentioned
  • Ad angles and hooks written in reviewer language, with the quotes that back each one
  • Objection-handling lines and proof statements for landing pages
  • Content ideas: the questions and comparisons reviewers keep raising, as article and FAQ topics

How it runs

  1. Step 1

    Gather the reviews

Sprites reads reviews from the sources you name through web research, and any export you upload. Competitor reviews are collected the same way.

  2. Step 2

    Group into themes

Statements are grouped by theme and by sentiment, with counts so you can see what is common versus loud. Exact phrases are kept with each theme.

  3. Step 3

    Compare with competitors

The same themes are read across competitors, so the report shows where you are praised and they are not, and which of their complaints you can lead with.

  4. Step 4

    Write the ideas

Angles, hooks, objection lines and content topics are written from the themes, each with the supporting quotes attached so a claim can be traced to a customer.

  5. Step 5

    Build what you pick

Ask Sprites to turn any angle into ads staged in Meta or Google Ads, or any topic into an article the SEO agent writes and publishes, with approval at each step.

Where teams use it

  • Ad creative research

Replace guessing at angles with the reasons customers state in their own words, then test those angles in Meta or Google with the ads staged from the same thread.

  • Landing page proof

Swap generic benefit lines for the specific outcomes reviewers describe, and answer the objections they raise before the form.

  • Content that ranks and converts

The questions and comparisons reviewers keep asking are search queries; turn them into articles the SEO agent writes and publishes.

  • Agencies

Run the review study at onboarding for each client to get the voice of customer before writing a single ad, and keep the quotes in the client workspace.

Frequently asked questions

Which review sources can Sprites mine?

+

Any public review page it can read through web research: Google reviews, Trustpilot, G2, Capterra, Amazon, app stores and similar, plus review exports or support spreadsheets you upload. Sprites reads reviews as a visitor would; it does not need an account with the review site.

How does it decide which themes matter?

+

By frequency and by how strongly reviewers state them, with both shown. A complaint that appears in a third of reviews outranks a vivid one-off. Every theme keeps its example quotes so you can check the reading yourself.

Can it mine competitor reviews too?

+

Yes. Name the competitors, or the category, and Sprites reads their reviews alongside yours. Their most repeated complaints are often the sharpest angle for your ads, and their praise tells you what the market treats as table stakes.

What happens with the ideas afterwards?

+

They become work in the same workspace. Sprites writes ads from the angles and stages them in Meta or Google Ads for approval, drafts landing page lines, and writes and publishes articles through the SEO agent to WordPress, Shopify, Webflow or a custom site.

Can I run review mining from Claude or ChatGPT?

+

Yes. Sprites ships an official MCP server, so the same research runs from Claude, ChatGPT, Grok or any MCP-compatible assistant, including reading files you link from Google Drive or OneDrive.
