BlueChew vs Hims vs Ro: Prices, Offers and the Ads Each One Runs

Hims is the cheapest pill. BlueChew sells the biggest combo. Ro has the brand names, the insurance help and Megan Fox.

That's the short version. Below is what each one sells, what it costs, how the visit works, and the part nobody else shows you - the 2,743 Meta ads the three of them are running right now.

Prices read from each brand's own pages, as of October 2026. This is a price and marketing comparison, not medical advice. Which treatment fits is a call for a licensed provider.

The pattern is easy to read. BlueChew gets cheaper the more you commit to: per-tablet pricing, quarterly plans, Gold as the default. Hims competes at the bottom with $22 generics and stacks bundles on top - sex plus hair, sex plus testosterone support, sex plus "climax control". Ro is the most expensive on generics and the only one with brand-name Viagra and Cialis, which is a different customer.

Every combo here is compounded. BlueChew Gold, Hims Hard Mints and the 3-in-1 pill, Ro Sparks and Daily Rise are not FDA-approved, and all three brands say so on the page. The generics are FDA-approved.

BlueChew: one product, one page, a lot of offers

Four BlueChew Meta ads: a woman on a beach asking Sir, have you gotten your free month of BlueChew Gold; a 4-in-1 tablet diagram; a Thank you veterans offer of $25 off and a 20% lifetime discount; a couple in a bedroom.
BlueChew on Meta. Gold, Gold, a veterans discount, Gold.

BlueChew is the simplest account of the three. 591 live ads and nearly every one sells Gold. One headline sits on more than 50 of them: "A New Way to Treat ED." Where the link is visible, it goes to one page, /landing/gold. The only exception is /heroes, for first responders.

The hooks are offers and ingredients. "Sir! Have you gotten your FREE month of BlueChew Gold?" "The 4-in-1 upgrade making bedrooms noisy again." A veterans static with $25 off and a 20% lifetime discount, a first-responders version of the same. The couple angle runs on the copy: "happy wife, happy life."

No celebrity. A few creator partner ads. And it ships steadily - 58 new ads in the last week, a dozen on some days.

Hims: the biggest account, run like a portfolio

Four Hims Meta ads: a creator POV about seeing the hims tin on his dresser; a door with Yes, men might never buy Cialis Together at the chemist again; a Guess Who board before and after hims; an office Slack screenshot.
Hims on Meta. Sex and hair, US and UK, all on one page.

Hims & Hers is the biggest spender here by a distance: 1,385 live ads and $5.0M to $21.7M a month on Meta. It's also the least focused page, because it isn't one business. Hair loss runs next to ED, and the UK runs next to the US - the UK ads go to forhims.co.uk, spell it "personalised" and sell Cialis Together "at the chemist".

The creative is native and joke-first. "POV: when you see the hims tin on his dresser so you know date night is gonna be extra sexy." A Guess Who board, before and after hims. A fake office Slack thread weighing two pints against a month of hair treatment. It reads like the feed it sits in.

On the US site the ED page opens on a couple and a line, "Be the guy who never skips the encore," then a grid of eleven products with a price on each. Product-first. You choose, then you take the assessment.

Ro: celebrities, quizzes and launch waves

Four Ro Meta ads: Megan Fox close-up with Faster than Viagra; Megan Fox crouching in a red bodysuit with Tried Viagra, Ro Sparks does it faster; a red Ro Sparks tablet; a creator video Serena reveals her health on a GLP-1.
Ro on Meta. Megan Fox for ED, Serena for GLP-1s.

Ro runs the most produced account of the three. 767 live Meta ads, 200 of them new in a single week, 128 on October 1 alone - the day Megan Fox became Ro Sparks.

Every product line gets a famous face and its own landing page. Serena Williams and Charles Barkley for GLP-1s, Trisha Paytas on Meta, Megan Fox for ED. The paths say it out loud: /lp/weight-loss/quiz/chuck/, /lp/weight-loss/quiz/trish/, /ed-rsl-quiz/megan-fox/. One headline, "See if you qualify", runs on almost 200 ads.

And every one of those pages is a quiz. The Megan Fox lander opens with the $15 discount already applied and question one of three: "How do you want to improve your sex life?" No hero. No "learn more". The full story is in Megan Fox's Ro Sparks campaign, and the whole account in Inside Ro's ads strategy.

What the ads tell you about each company

BlueChew is a single-product company that wants you on a quarterly plan. Every ad, every offer and the plan-first checkout point the same way.

Hims is a platform. Sex, hair, weight, testosterone, the UK. It spends the most and sells the widest catalogue, and its ads are built to blend in.

Ro is a brand. It pays for faces, makes TV, puts the face on a quiz and tags every channel with its own URL. It costs more at the generic end and it wants the customer who'd rather not think about the price.

Three different businesses selling the same molecule.

Frequently asked questions

Is BlueChew or Hims cheaper?

For a plain generic, Hims. Generic Viagra starts at $22 a month and generic Cialis at $24 on Hims, against $25 to $30 a month for BlueChew’s single-ingredient chewables. BlueChew is cheaper per tablet only on its Gold combo bought quarterly, at $11.65 a tablet. Prices as of October 2026.

Is Ro cheaper than Hims?

Not for generics. Ro’s generic Viagra starts at $32 a month for 8 doses, Hims at $22. For GLP-1 weight loss the two charge the same membership: $39 for the first month, then $149 a month, with medication billed on top. Ro also offers $74 a month if you prepay a year.

What is the difference between BlueChew Gold and Ro Sparks?

Both dissolve under the tongue and both are compounded, so neither is FDA-approved. Ro Sparks combines two drugs, sildenafil and tadalafil, and costs $48 a month for 4 doses. BlueChew Gold combines four: sildenafil, tadalafil, apomorphine and oxytocin, from $11.65 to $18.28 a tablet depending on the plan.

Which one sells brand-name Viagra and Cialis?

Ro. It lists Viagra at $360 a month and Cialis at $320 a month next to the generics. Hims and BlueChew list generics and compounded products only.

Do BlueChew, Hims and Ro all need a prescription?

Yes. All three run an online visit with a licensed provider, who decides whether a prescription is appropriate. Medication ships only if you are prescribed. This page compares prices and marketing, not medical suitability.

Who advertises the most?

Hims & Hers, by live ads and by modelled spend: 1,385 live Meta ads and $5.0M to $21.7M over 30 days. Ro launches the fastest, with 200 new Meta ads in one week around the Megan Fox launch. BlueChew runs 591, almost all statics pointing at one Gold lander.
