2.5/10Misspelled 'SPRITS'. Automatic DQ for brand work.
Creative Arena · Updated October 2, 2026
Seedance 2.0 Fast won Face realism and UGC creator ad and Rapper on orange in the Sprites bakeoff, more briefs than any other model. It is the default for faces and UGC creator ads at $0.47 a clip. Keep it away from brand text: it spelled the wordmark wrong.
Each brief went to every model with the identical prompt. Scores are out of 10 for the brief, not for looks.
Misspelled 'SPRITS'. Automatic DQ for brand work.
Most photographic: real window light, freckles, a smile that reads genuine, no plastic skin.
Best splash physics of all, but the label text dissolved.
Natural creator delivery; product stays readable in frame. Winner of this brief.
Glass floats upside-down with the wine still inside, then a good splash.
Mirrored kaleidoscope; lost the single centre figure.
Vivid orange seamless, confident delivery; mouth and hands move with a rap cadence.
Beyond text-to-video: the same model driven by reference images, a timed shot list or a start frame.
Opus picks reference stills and shot timing; Seedance 2.5 locks identity across a long take. The winning director stack for UGC and fashion ads. Stack score 1324, editorial.
1222 Elo on the Artificial Analysis text-to-video arena. AA #5 T2V-with-audio; AA #2 image-to-video. Still the volume / cheaper Seedance tier.
For people on camera, it is the best model in the round. Seedance 2.0 Fast won Face realism and UGC creator ad and Rapper on orange and scored 6.7/10 across 7 briefs, at $0.47 a clip. It fails on brand text and product labels, so use a start frame for a real product and render logos in code.
Write the shot like a camera note: framing, subject, light, the beat-by-beat action, and the finish. 'Vertical smartphone selfie, UGC style. A woman in her 20s in a bright bathroom holds a white serum bottle to camera, tilts it to show the label, taps it and smiles while talking. Handheld, natural daylight, not cinematic.' Saying what it is not ('not cinematic') keeps the UGC feel.
For a reference-driven ad with native audio and a longer take, 2.5 is the stronger model. With the same reference images and shot list, 2.0 Fast delivered a comparable look and pacing at about 36% of the 2.5 price on the fashion brief, and about a third on the UGC serum brief.
Opus → Seedance 2.5, the top stack on the board: Claude Opus 5.5 picks reference stills and shot timing, and Seedance 2.5 locks identity across a long take. It is the winning stack for UGC and fashion ads.
