Why it happens
The landing page
The landing page
A broken URL, a page that does not match the ad, a redirect chain or a page that is mostly a form with no context.
Claims the page cannot back up
Guaranteed results, "number one" without a source, before and after promises.
Text and image rules
Excessive capitalization, gimmicky punctuation, low quality images, or LinkedIn’s own brand used in a way the brand rules do not allow.
Restricted categories
Financial products, health claims, jobs and recruiting, and other categories carry extra rules.
How to fix it, step by step
Find the reason
Check the rejection email, or open the ad in Campaign Manager and read the status. The reason names the policy.
Fix the page first
If the reason touches the destination, fix the landing page: working URL, same offer as the ad, no long redirect chain.
Edit or replace the ad
Change the copy or image that broke the policy. Editing sends it back to review; creating a corrected ad keeps the history clean.
Resubmit and wait
Review usually takes up to 24 hours. Keep the ad set running on its other approved ads in the meantime.
Ask for a second look if it was wrong
If you are sure the ad complies, contact LinkedIn support from the help center with the ad ID and the reason you think it was misread.

Sprites fixes this
Or let Sprites fix it
Sprites finds every rejected ad across the account and drafts the corrected version. You approve before it is created.
What Sprites does
- Lists every ad with its review status and whether it is serving, so rejected ads surface across every ad set at once.
- Reads the ad’s creative: headline, text, image and destination.
- Creates a corrected ad with compliant copy for you to approve.
What it doesn't do
- Appeal the rejection with LinkedIn
- Read the rejection reason text
Questions
How long does LinkedIn ad review take?
Usually within 24 hours. It can run longer for restricted categories.
Where do I see why my LinkedIn ad was rejected?
In the email LinkedIn sends, and on the ad in Campaign Manager. The reason names the policy.
Can I appeal a LinkedIn ad rejection?
Yes, through LinkedIn support. Fixing and resubmitting is usually faster when the reason is clear.
Does a rejected ad stop the ad set?
Only if it was the only active ad. Other approved ads keep running. An ad set with no approved ads shows Not delivering.
Can Sprites appeal for me?
No. Sprites finds rejected ads and creates corrected versions for you to approve. Appeals go through LinkedIn support.
Let Sprites fix it
Connect the account. Sprites finds the cause, stages the change and waits for your approval.
