Add Sprites to Grok
Available on Grok paid tiers on web, iOS and Android; Business and Enterprise workspaces need an admin to provision it. You need a Sprites account with TikTok Ads already connected — the connector acts on that connection, so Grok never handles a TikTok credential.
Open the connectors page
Go to grok.com/connectors. Built-in and catalogue connectors are listed here alongside anything you add yourself.
Grokgrok.comConnectorsCreate a custom connector
Click New Connector, then choose Custom. Paste the Sprites endpoint and give it a name.
New connector — CustomNameSpritesMCP server URLhttps://mcp.sprites.ai/mcpComplete the sign-in
Grok sends you to the Sprites consent screen. Sign in with the account your channels are connected to and approve. Grok then discovers the tools and offers them in conversation like any built-in connector.
Spriteswants access on behalf of Grok- Read your connected ad accounts and site data
- Draft campaigns, creatives and pages for your approval
- Apply only the changes you approve
AllowCancelApprove changes by name
Grok renders results as text, so a pending change comes back written out rather than as a card. Nothing is applied until you approve it, and the approval waits for you in Sprites.
Run the first prompt
Ask Grok this. It routes to a Sprites door, which reads your TikTok Ads account and answers — no account to name, no confirmation to give first.
- With Sprites, which TikTok hooks have the best 3-second hold this month?
- Ask Sprites for 6 new TikTok hooks based on our top performer.
- Use Sprites to find TikTok ad groups spending with no conversions in 7 days.
- Have Sprites launch a TikTok campaign for the summer bundle at $150/day.
- With Sprites, what are competitors running on TikTok in our category?
Open a new chat, ask "what Sprites tools do you have?" and confirm the doors are listed.
What Grok can do with TikTok Ads
The same doors, whichever client you are in. Grok reads the live timeline, so the same thread that spots a trend can brief the campaign that rides it.
Read performance by hook, not by campaign
Three-second hold, six-second hold and CPA per opening, so the pattern is visible before the spend is.
Keep the batch coming
New hooks and scripts drafted against the ones already earning, in the volume the platform demands.
Rotate before the drop
The day a creative's hold rate breaks trend, and what to swap in.
Spot the category move
What competitors are running now, read as angles you can test rather than clips you can watch.
Launch in the right shape
Campaign, ad groups and ads built for TikTok's structure, not a search campaign wearing a costume.
Stop feeding the losers
Ad-group spend moved onto the creatives that hold, with the trade stated in the card.
How approvals work here
Grok renders tool results as text, so a TikTok change comes back written out rather than as a card. Nothing is applied until you approve it, and the approval waits for you in Sprites — open it there and the same run continues.
What it reads
- Campaigns, ad groups, ads and their status
- Spend, CPA, ROAS, CTR, hold rate and completion
- Creative assets and per-creative performance
- Public competitor creative in the category
What it can change
- Create campaigns, ad groups and ads
- Budgets, schedules, statuses and targeting
- New hooks and scripts, previewed before they ship
When it does not work in Grok
Three things go wrong in this client specifically, and each has a one-line fix.
New Connector has no Custom option.
Bring-your-own MCP is a paid-tier feature, and on Business or Enterprise a workspace admin has to enable it first.
Grok answers from the timeline instead of your account.
Say "with Sprites". Without it, a question about your ads is one Grok will happily answer from public data rather than from your account.
The connector was added but nothing is callable.
The endpoint must be reachable on the public internet and must be the one above; a tunnel URL from a testing guide will not resolve.
TikTok Ads and Grok: questions
Which URL do I paste into Grok?
https://mcp.sprites.ai/mcp. There is one endpoint and every client uses it — every OAuth grant is bound to exactly that address, so a variant of it will not be honoured.
Can Grok change my TikTok Ads account without asking?
Grok renders tool results as text, so a TikTok change comes back written out rather than as a card. Nothing is applied until you approve it, and the approval waits for you in Sprites — open it there and the same run continues.
Do I need a TikTok Ads API key or developer token?
No. TikTok Ads is connected once inside Sprites through TikTok Ads Manager, and the connector acts on that connection. Grok never sees a credential for it.
Why Grok for TikTok Ads specifically?
Grok reads the live timeline, so the same thread that spots a trend can brief the campaign that rides it.
Can it upload video?
It drafts hooks, scripts and concepts and proposes the ad; the video file itself is attached in the approval card before anything publishes.
Does it read Spark ads?
Yes — Spark ads appear alongside in-feed creative with their own performance, so a creator post that works is visible next to the ads it beats.
Keep going
The same Grok connector reaches every other channel — nothing else to add.
