Sprites MCP · Meta

Meta Ads MCP: Facebook and Instagram campaigns from your AI agent

The Sprites MCP server connects Facebook and Instagram Ads to any MCP client. Ask about creative fatigue, ad-set overlap or yesterday's ROAS and Sprites reads the live account; ask it to change something and it comes back as an approval card with the creative preview attached.

What Sprites does on Meta Ads

Every door runs the Meta Ads specialist, which reads the account itself. You do not brief it on which account, campaign or page you mean.

See fatigue before the CPA does

Frequency, first-time impression ratio and the day a creative's CTR broke trend, per ad rather than per campaign.

Get new creative, not a brief

Hooks, headlines and image concepts drafted against what is already working, previewed in the real placement.

Untangle the ad sets

Audience overlap, learning-phase resets and the ad sets quietly bidding against each other.

Watch the competition

Live ads from any advertiser in the Meta ad library, read as angles rather than screenshots.

Launch across placements

Campaign, ad sets, audiences and ads in one editable proposal, with the creative attached.

Reallocate on evidence

Move budget to the ad set that earns it, with the before-and-after stated in the card.

Connect Meta Ads to your agent

One endpoint, five clients. Each guide is the exact path through that host's settings, the URL to paste, and the first prompt to run.

Claude

The only host that draws the Sprites approval card in the chat, so you edit a budget or a headline in place and approve it without leaving the thread.

Approval card in the thread
ChatGPT

Developer mode gives ChatGPT full read-and-write MCP tools rather than the search-and-fetch pair the built-in connectors are limited to, and the Apps SDK renders the Sprites card in the thread.

Approval card in the thread
Codex

Marketing work that belongs in a commit: Codex can read the landing page it is about to ship and brief Sprites on the campaign pointing at it, in one session.

Cursor

The campaign and the page it points at live in the same window: change the pricing copy, then have Sprites update the ads that quote it, without a second tool.

Grok

Grok reads the live timeline, so the same thread that spots a trend can brief the campaign that rides it.

Gemini

The account and the analytics are already Google: Gemini reads Google Ads and GA4 alongside Search Console without leaving the family it belongs to.

Results as text · approve in Sprites
GitHub Copilot

Marketing data inside the editor where the tracking code lives, so a conversion event can be checked against what GA4 actually recorded before the pull request is opened.

Google Antigravity

One MCP configuration shared by the IDE, the CLI, the SDK and Antigravity 2.0, so the connector is added once and every surface has it.

Lovable

What it builds can be shaped by what actually converts: a landing page written against the search terms that are really paying, rather than against a guess.

Prompts that work verbatim

Paste any of these into a connected client. Naming Sprites matters: without it, an agent will happily answer a Meta question from public data rather than from your account.

  • ›With Sprites, which Meta creatives are fatiguing and what should replace them?
  • ›Ask Sprites for 5 new hooks for our best-performing Instagram ad.
  • ›Use Sprites to compare Meta ROAS this month against last month by ad set.
  • ›Have Sprites check whether our ad sets are overlapping on audience.
  • ›With Sprites, show me what our top 3 competitors are running on Meta right now.

What it reads, and what it can change

Reads happen on request. Writes never happen unasked: every change to Meta Ads is proposed, editable, and applied only when you approve it.

What it reads

  • Campaigns, ad sets, ads, audiences and their status
  • Spend, ROAS, CPA, CTR, frequency and placement breakdowns
  • Creative assets and per-creative performance
  • Public competitor ads from the Meta ad library

What it can change

  • Create campaigns, ad sets, audiences and ads
  • Budgets, schedules, statuses and targeting
  • New creative, previewed in placement before anything ships

The doors behind it

  • analyze — ROAS, CPA, frequency and creative-level performance
  • create_creative — new hooks, headlines and image concepts, previewed in placement
  • optimize — fatigued creatives, overlapping ad sets, budget reallocation
  • launch — campaign, ad sets, audiences and ads as one proposal
  • research — what rivals are running right now, from the ad library
  • change — a budget, a status, an audience, one card at a time

Meta Ads MCP questions

Do I need a Meta developer app or a system user token?

No. You connect Meta once inside Sprites with OAuth; the MCP connector then acts on that connection. Your agent never sees a token.

Can it publish an ad without me seeing it?

No. Creative comes back as a preview in the real placement, editable, and ships only when you approve it.

Does it cover Instagram as well as Facebook?

Yes — both run on the same Meta ad account, and placements are read and set per ad set as normal.

Can I see competitor ads through it?

Yes. Sprites reads the public Meta ad library and returns live ads by advertiser, which is the same data behind the Sprites ads library.

What happens if the Meta connection expires?

The run parks rather than failing: Sprites tells your agent the channel needs reconnecting, and the same run resumes once you fix it, even if you fix it somewhere else.
