What this Pinterest ad library is

667 Promoted Pins from 447 advertisers, read from Pinterest's public ads repository. Each card carries the Pin creative at full resolution, the title Pinterest published, the advertiser named in the repository and the destination URL the Pin pointed at. Pinterest publishes the ads; the ranking and the analysis are ours.

Pinterest is a shopping surface that looks like a mood board, and the ads reflect that more faithfully than any other platform’s. A Promoted Pin that works is indistinguishable from a Pin someone would save on purpose — the product is styled in a room, an outfit, a table, and the brand is a small mark rather than a banner. Scroll this wall and the ads that stand out as ads are the weak ones.

The aspect ratio is a real decision here in a way it is not elsewhere. Pinterest’s feed is a masonry column, so a tall Pin occupies more of a reader’s screen than a square one, and the 2:3 ratio Pinterest recommends is doing more work than any headline on the creative. Every ad on this page is shown at the ratio it was designed in, which makes the difference visible.

Text on the image, not around it. Pinterest publishes a title with a Pin, but the title is not what a reader sees while scrolling — the image is. The advertisers who understand this put the offer or the category into the artwork, and the ones who do not run a beautiful photograph with no idea attached.

The destinations tell a second story. A large share of this set are marketplaces and catalogue retailers pointing at a category page rather than a product page, which is a demand-capture play on a platform most people use for discovery. The domain each Pin pointed at is on the card.

Two limits, stated rather than hidden. Pinterest’s repository publishes no call-to-action label, so no card here shows one. And roughly two thirds of the Pins in the repository have since been deleted as Pins; only the ones that still resolve were kept, so every creative here still has a live destination behind it.

Where these ads come from

These come from Pinterest’s ads repository at ads.pinterest.com/ads-repository, which exists because of the EU Digital Services Act. That has one consequence worth stating plainly: the repository covers ads served in the EU, Brazil and Turkey, and contains no US-served Pinterest ads at all. The advertisers are real and so is the creative, but the market is European, and a good number of titles are in the local language of the country the ad ran in.

  • Every creative is a copy, not a hotlink. All 667 creatives were downloaded, checked against their own magic bytes and copied to our CDN before this page shipped. A creative that could not be copied was dropped rather than published as a tile that would go blank when the platform expired its URL.
  • No spend, impressions or conversions.Pinterest publishes none of them for commercial advertising, and nothing on this page estimates them. A field absent on a card means the source did not publish it.
  • Each card links to the page it came from. The creative viewer names the source for every ad, so any claim on this page can be checked against the record it was read from.
  • Read on one date. This library was read on September 15, 2026. It is a snapshot of what Pinterest published that day, not a live feed.

Frequently asked questions

Does Pinterest have an official ads repository?

Yes, at ads.pinterest.com/ads-repository. It is a Digital Services Act artifact, which is why it covers ads served in the EU, Brazil and Turkey and not the United States. It is the source this page reads.

Why are there no US Pinterest ads here?

Because the repository is an EU transparency obligation and Pinterest publishes nothing equivalent for the US market. That is a limit of what Pinterest discloses, not a choice made here, and it is why the page says so rather than implying global coverage.

Why do the ads have no call to action?

Pinterest’s repository does not publish the button label, so every card shows the field as absent rather than guessing at "Shop now". Pinterest’s ad products do include CTAs; the repository simply does not disclose them.

What do Pinterest ads cost?

Nothing public discloses it per advertiser, and no figure on this page is an estimate of it. Pinterest’s repository publishes an EU reach band for some ads, which is a reach figure and not a spend one.

What size should a Pinterest ad be?

Pinterest recommends a 2:3 ratio — 1000 × 1500 is the common build. Every creative on this page renders at its real measured dimensions, so the ratios an advertiser actually shipped are visible rather than described.

Do I need a Pinterest account?

No Pinterest account and no Sprites account. The first rows are open; one email address opens the rest.
