What this Snapchat ad library is

387 Snapchat ads from 262 advertisers, 292 of them video you can play here. Each card carries the top-snap creative, the headline, the call-to-action button and the destination, read from Snap's own ad repository and its political ads library.

Snapchat is a vertical video platform where the ad is nine seconds long and the skip is one tap away, so the whole creative decision is what happens in the first second. Play a dozen of these in a row and the working pattern is obvious: face or product in frame immediately, motion before the first word, and the brand arriving after the hook rather than before it.

The top snap is the ad. Everything else Snap offers — the attachment, the swipe-up, the app install card — only matters if someone got past the first frame, and Snap’s own format guidance is essentially one instruction repeated: do not open on a logo. The creatives here that open on a logo are visibly the weaker half of the wall.

Sound is assumed on, which is the opposite of Meta. Snapchat is used with the volume up far more than any feed-based platform, and the ads that treat the audio as a caption track rather than a soundtrack read as ports from somewhere else.

The vertical frame is non-negotiable. A 9:16 creative fills the phone; anything else gets letterboxed into a fraction of the screen and loses before the hook lands. Every ad on this page is shown at its real shape, so the advertisers who shipped a repurposed square are easy to spot.

The political and advocacy ads are worth reading for a different reason. Snap publishes spend, impressions and the full targeting spec for every one of them — the only place on this site where an ad arrives with its media plan attached. They are a different product from the commercial ads around them, which is why they are labelled rather than blended in.

Where these ads come from

Two sources, both Snap’s own. The commercial ads come from Snap’s ad repository at adsgallery.snap.com, published under the EU Digital Services Act — which means the delivery is European and many headlines are in the local language of the market the ad ran in. The political and advocacy ads come from Snap’s political ads library, which Snap publishes for every market; those are labelled as political on the card and are not mixed into the commercial count.

  • Every creative is a copy, not a hotlink. All 387 creatives were downloaded, checked against their own magic bytes and copied to our CDN before this page shipped. A creative that could not be copied was dropped rather than published as a tile that would go blank when the platform expired its URL.
  • No spend, impressions or conversions.Snapchat publishes none of them for commercial advertising, and nothing on this page estimates them. A field absent on a card means the source did not publish it.
  • Each card links to the page it came from. The creative viewer names the source for every ad, so any claim on this page can be checked against the record it was read from.
  • Read on one date. This library was read on September 15, 2026. It is a snapshot of what Snapchat published that day, not a live feed.

Frequently asked questions

Does Snapchat have an official ads library?

Two of them. Snap’s ad repository at adsgallery.snap.com is its EU Digital Services Act disclosure and covers commercial ads served in Europe. Snap’s political ads library at snap.com/political-ads covers political and advocacy advertising worldwide and publishes spend, impressions and targeting per ad. This page reads both.

Why are the headlines in different languages?

Because the commercial repository is an EU transparency artifact, so the ads in it were served in European markets and are written for them. The advertiser and the creative are real; the market is European.

Can I see what a Snapchat ad cost?

For political and advocacy ads, yes — Snap publishes spend, impressions and targeting for every one, and those cards carry it. For commercial ads, no public source discloses spend and nothing here estimates it.

What ad formats does Snapchat sell?

Single image and video ads (the top snap), Story Ads, Collection Ads, Dynamic Ads, Commercials and AR Lenses and Filters. What appears in this feed is what the repositories publish, which is predominantly the top-snap creative.

What size should a Snapchat ad be?

Full-screen vertical: 1080 × 1920, 9:16. Every creative here renders at its measured dimensions, so you can see which advertisers shipped for the format and which repurposed something square.

Do I need a Snapchat account?

No Snapchat account and no Sprites account. The first rows are open; one email address opens the rest.
