Why is there no ChatGPT Ads sign-in in Sprites?
Advertiser access for ChatGPT ads is still closed compared with Google Partner OAuth or Meta Business Login. Until OpenAI ships an API an operator can grant, there is nothing honest for Sprites to connect. The library and research tools are what exist today.
What can Muse actually do with ChatGPT ads today?
Through Sprites it can search the ChatGPT ads corpus Sprites publishes — advertiser, prompt, headline, format and when the ad was seen — and pull examples into the conversation. It cannot raise a ChatGPT ads budget, pause a placement or create a campaign, because there is no account write path.
Is this the same as connecting ChatGPT itself to Sprites?
No. Connecting ChatGPT as an MCP client so ChatGPT can run your Google and Meta accounts is a different job, documented on the Sprites MCP pages. This page is about Muse reading ChatGPT ads as a channel, not about ChatGPT as the agent.
How does Muse get the ChatGPT ads data?
The same Custom Connector to Sprites used for every other channel. Once Sprites is a Muse skill, asking about ChatGPT ads routes to the research tools behind the corpus rather than to an Ads Manager login.
When will a real ChatGPT Ads account connect exist?
When OpenAI opens advertiser API access an operator can grant. Sprites will add it the same way LinkedIn and Reddit were added — as an OAuth integration behind the same MCP endpoint — and this page will change from research to account connect.

- Early testers report that an OAuth sign-in takes more back-and-forth in Muse than a static API key does. Sprites signs in with OAuth, and we are testing that handoff now.
Common questions
Can Muse buy ads inside ChatGPT for me?
No. There is no write path to ChatGPT Ads from Muse or from Sprites today. Research and creative comparison are what the connector can do.
Where do I manage ChatGPT ads if not in Muse?
In OpenAI’s own ads surfaces while they remain invite-only or limited. Sprites’ ChatGPT ads guides and library cover what is public; they are not a substitute for an advertiser login.
Does the Muse free plan cover ChatGPT ads research?
Research calls draw on Muse’s token allowance like any other Custom Connector use. Sprites’ corpus read is included once you have a Sprites account; there is no separate ChatGPT Ads line item.
