Sign in with the LinkedIn account that administers the ad account. Sprites uses LinkedIn’s Advertising API OAuth; there is no community API key to generate.

The first time Muse calls a Sprites tool it asks. Choose “Allow for this task” for reads; Sprites holds every write for your approval regardless.

Does LinkedIn have an official MCP server Muse can use?
Not a public one. LinkedIn ships two first-party apps inside ChatGPT — “LinkedIn” and a read-only “LinkedIn Ads” beta — and those work in ChatGPT only. Muse cannot use them. A Custom Connector to Sprites is the route that reaches Campaign Manager from Muse.
What can Muse do with LinkedIn Ads through Sprites?
Read spend, leads, CPL, CTR and reach by segment, draft target-account lists and buying-committee audiences for ABM, and propose sponsored-content or lead-gen campaigns. Budgets, targeting and creative changes arrive as approval cards. New campaigns start paused.
Can Muse upload a matched audience list?
Through Sprites, yes as a proposal. You bring the account list; Sprites builds the matched audience and the committee split, and nothing goes live until you approve the card. Muse itself never holds the CSV.
Is this different from connecting LinkedIn to Claude or ChatGPT?
The Sprites endpoint is the same URL in every client. Claude and ChatGPT paste it into a connector form; Muse has no URL field in Settings › Connectors, so you ask it to build the connector in the chat. The channels and the approval model do not change.
Can Muse post organically on a LinkedIn company page?
Not as a general claim. Sprites can list company-page posts and read the LinkedIn Ad Library; organic posting from Social Studio is admin-only today. The paid Campaign Manager connection is what this page is about.

- Early testers report that an OAuth sign-in takes more back-and-forth in Muse than a static API key does. Sprites signs in with OAuth, and we are testing that handoff now.
Common questions
Will Muse see my LinkedIn messages or profile?
No. The grant is to Sprites acting on Campaign Manager, not to a personal LinkedIn inbox. Muse never receives a LinkedIn password or a scraping session.
Can an agency connect several LinkedIn ad accounts for Muse?
Yes, if each account is connected inside the Sprites workspace. Muse’s grant is per person to that workspace; approvals stay with whoever holds it.
Does connecting LinkedIn Ads to Muse cost extra on LinkedIn?
No LinkedIn-side fee for the API connection itself. LinkedIn bills ad spend as usual. Muse tokens and Sprites billing are separate.
